Update!!!!
Playing around with wordpress I found if you disable the multidomain mapping tool and set you forums up without this plugin active everything works fine. You can the reactivate it and it continues to work as it should (people can post etc!!) I am very pleased I got this working because this is the only forums I actually like.
Thx for your help. Its a shame because your forums I like much better then PHPBB etc.
