Thanks for the suggestion. I just tried that and it didn’t change anything. hmmm? This one has me stumped. I’ll keep looking and if you think of anything else let me know.

I have done some followup research, but still have not resolved this issue. I uninstalled the latest version Events Manager and re-installed an earlier version (5.41) and the featured images comes back.
Any installation after 5.41 removes the featured images section on the New Events page using my current theme. I know that this is a conflict between my current theme and Events Manager, but a conflict that only appears after 5.41
I notice on the changelog for 5.42 the following: “fixed add theme support for thumbnail function not firing early enough”. I am assuming that whatever was changed in 5.42 to address this issue is now causing an issue with my theme.
Anyone have an idea on how to make my theme compliant or Events Manager compliant?
You were right. When I change my theme the Featured Images come back. I will do some work on my theme to get that back. Thanks
I just checked the user capabilities. All of the boxes are checked for administrator. I am logged in as an admin. And, I deactivated every other plugin and I still get the same problem.
By the way I am running Events Manager 5.0.42 and WordPress 3.3.1 This might have started after my most recent WordPress update. Thoughts?
