This is so weird. Before Apple would show the episode with the audio package, but wouldn’t play. Spotify would play, but is still not drawing the most recent episode.
I didn’t have any particular settings with the Bluehost plugin. I thought I needed it. I do not know what it did. Everything looks the same and runs the same without it. Sorry, I can’t say more.
Yes, my feed checked out on Cast Feed Validator for the first time. But my real issue is that it is not playing on Apple. Apple recognizes the most recent episode, even the length of it, but NO episodes can be played by Apple or any of the derivative services. But, they play on Spotify. So, I’m not sure what is going on.
Once it was working I refreshed the feed on Apple Podcast Connect feed. It drew the new episode, complete with length, but still won’t play anything. I get the same thing on Google Podcasts.
And, oddly, episodes play on Spotify, but the newest doesn’t show up.
I contacted my host. They turned off the cache on the server end. I purged and turned it off on my settings, but we still don’t have a working RSS feed.
