Yes.. I went in to the WP Permalinks admin and re-saved the page.
From what I can see there may be 2 problems that have occured:
When EM fetches a list of Locations, nothing is returned to the lookup.
The 404 error which from I see from other posts, could be caused by a few things.

… I see that the event Categories are also not appearing when I edit an Event.
