What has happend to this plugin and your support? Was perfect for so long, and since the 2.0 update it has been a total disaster.

Honestly, it’s pathetic. How can a plugin that was the gold standard for so long utterly collapse overnight? The 2.0 update felt like a cover for the real tragedy, but the new owners of the company fired or drove off every single competent person who knew how the plugin actually worked. It’s not a technical failure; it’s a monumental management blunder, where the experienced team is reduced to one poor soul left, and users like you are stranded with broken features and support tickets that vanish into the void.

I truly hope that the last remaining soul from the former team finds enough time to look into your problem soon.

I’m truly sorry to hear you’re having trouble with your Advanced Ads premium plugins and aren’t receiving support. Your frustration is completely understandable.

While I can’t offer direct help, I can provide some context: MonetizeMore acquired Advanced Ads in March 2023. As a direct consequence, almost the entire Advanced Ads team was abruptly laid off in April 2025—with no replacements hired. I was among them.

What you’re experiencing now is, unfortunately, the direct result of these massive staffing changes. When decades of specialized experience are suddenly removed to cut costs, product stability and support quality inevitably suffer.

I know this doesn’t solve your problem, but I hope it clarifies why the support experience has changed so drastically. Unfortunately, there’s currently no indication this situation will improve.

 is there an option to show something like a badge or sign “Ad” or “Advertisement” on the places we add ads with your plugin?

Yes, Advanced Ads provides an ad label feature to embed such signs. See this manual for further information.

Finally, is there any feature that allows the user to close the ads? In the premium version?

If not coded manually and embedded via the Plain text and code ad type, only a few placements come with the Sticky Ads add-on and the Popup and Layer ads add-on with dedicated close button options.
