I will work my way through but dont understand how it could have worked fine up until the second after i updated to the new wordpress. Also why does it work ok on my desktop just not on my laptop? So many questions but i had another wordpress site hacked because i didnt update fast enough so this seems to be the opposite thing? Thanks for your help. Sally

In reply to: Links in my dashboard directing me to google??Ohhh ive just tried my desktop and all the links within the dashboard work fine on that. Is it some sort of virus then? Ive run two different virus checks on it Avira and MacAfee and nothing shows up. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It worked fine before i updated wordpress because id just put up 2 new posts on it. Thanks.

In reply to: Automatic Upgrade to 3.0.1 failedMy automatic upgrade for WP 3.0.1 is failing as well and since upgrading to WP3.0 ive had problems updating plugins. When trying to upgrade i get this message: Downloading update from http://wordpress.org/wordpress-3.0.1.zip… then thats it – nothing happens and my site is stuck in maintenance mode for about 5 minutes.
I am having problems updating posts and pages and think that its caused by version 3.0 so really need to update it. When i try to update posts i just get a blank page and cant get anything up at the moment unless i do control F5 which sometimes works. This never happened before v3.0. Can anyone help please.
