We are doing good. Hope you are doing good too.
The custom field is there if your post has no feature image and there is no image as part the regular post content.
Sometimes, users will install plugin and put the image in custom field. That is the dropdown for. It is an optional field.Please update the plugin, the synchronization issue should be fixed by this update.

But, that is an optional field. So if you have thumbnail other than featured image field then you can mention from which field searchIQ should fetch thumbnails.Forum: Plugins

Point no. 2 is already completed, you can update the plugin if you have not. You will find options in the customization tab.3rd point needs some work but we are focusing on advanced features now. I will let you know when it is done.

“body #siq_search_results .srch-btn-box .inp-srch-btn”
but we are working on that and soon we will provide the flexibility to override our css via the plugin dasbboard. I will notify you once it is ready.
