I have the same problem you had, but it doesn´t work for me. How did you address the pods field in Custom Content Shortcode? Only [fieldname] or do they have some additive?

Tried it but I´m afraid it doesn´t work. I think the problem doesn´t depend on the width of the container. Because ther would be enough space to show the other letters. There must be a function which cuts the letters.
And the size for the featured image on single post pages ist this one “tc_thumb_size 250 x 270”?
So I only have to resize and then regenerate them?
