Deactivate the plugin, clear your cache (close and then re-open your browser) and see if the redirect still happens, please? I did this before my first post and the redirect did not happen.
Also, did you check WP Admin -> Quick Redirects -> Redirect Summary to see if it’s listed there? If you see it there, then check under WP Admin -> Quick Redirects -> Quick Redirects, under the “Existing Redirects” section towards the bottom. It is not listed there.
Do I need to remove the old plugin before updating?
