Thank you. The link you kindly supplied was exactly where I had seen the pier image working across different screen sizes.

Think I am off to find better options!

Thanks for the very fast reply, WPyogi. I may have to resort to what you suggest!

Before I do, please could you perhaps explain how, in the general WP blurb on Twenty Fifteen, they get the pier image to look like it does? Is it a featured image?
