    Hi Amanda,

Thanks so much for your reply. I have got the identity token from paypal but in wordpress My Paypal settings in woocommerce doesn’t have the Paypal Identity box to paste it into! I am in that section and i can see those other options but not that specific box.

Edit: I have found this in the regular Paypal method, I was using Paypal Checkout. Would you recommend I switch?

Hi Zach, thanks so much for your response.

I can’t check the box to require billing address through paypal. The option says paypal needs to do this. I have called paypal and they told me this is incorrect as it goes against their user agreement.

I have tried some third party plugin that are supposed to edit the checkout page to make the address fields required but none of them worked.

I have done some test runs and if you do fill in the optional billing address fields the tax works perfectly.

Is there another plugin that will do this for me?

    Hi Zach,

Thanks for your response. I’m using paypal checkout that was an option included with woocommerce.

You’re right the shipping information is optional. I wonder if this is the issue. I have already had sales and customers who have purchased with a paypal account were charged the full amount but those with a credit card were only charged the ex tax amount.

I can’t find anywhere to change the customer shipping address to required though?

    thanks!
