Changing the “wp-includes/js” folder to the older version did solve the problem. Hopefully woocommerce or wordpress will come out with a patch so I can keep my entire site up to date.

It was a problem with the theme. I just had to include some custom css to block it. Also he had a sidebar creator in his theme so the woosidebars did nothing.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction though.

I figured out that it is a problem with my theme. When I change my theme back to Twenty-Twelve I am able to move widgets around, i.e. I can remove and add them to widget areas.

I will have to ask the theme author about this.
