Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: How to make a page a menu of subcategoriesI’m relatively new to wordpress as well, but if i understand what you are asking, you want to basically copy this type of format: http://benstarr.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=section&id=4&Itemid=34
Yes? I think you cannot just list everything as a “blog post”. You must create separate pages and/or subpages for these items and put your links there.I think if you are trying to make separate blogs, then you would maybe want to embed the different blogs in an <iframe> on your page? There is a plugin for that.
Hopefully someone with much more knowledge will come along and understand completely what you are asking and will be able to help more, but maybe there are some ideas in here that could at least point you to some different ideas to try out.
We had some trouble with our site and “reset” our events page. The events page went from /events/ to /events-2/ and had a bunch of locations that we couldn’t find or remove. So I uninstalled and deleted Events Manager, emptied my cache so i would get fresh pages, and reinstalled. I cannot get it back to /events/ it’s at /events-4/ and will not allow me to change the permalink back to /events/
http://www.cbcventura.org/wordpress/ if you would like to see the permalinks and if you have a solution or know that this is a bug and should be fixed.
