  • My client got the fatal error as well. It’s because GoDaddy doesn’t support the update, but it would have been nice to have known that before we clicked the prompt on WordPress to accept the update. It’s devastating because it’s a business blog, and he’s built up a following and amassed a large number of comments.

The Web designer tried pulling the scripting error out of the indicated line, but it just keeps moving through the code and giving errors with new line errors indicated. Do I need to download the Zend Optimizer as well?

James, if you can advise in any way, it would be much appreciated. The error is below, as is the blog URL:

Fatal error: Class ‘WP_Http’ not found in /home/content/c/a/r/carrozzaweb/html/blog/wp-includes/http.php on line 26

    Blog URL: http://www.carrozzaassociates.com/blog/

Again, this isn’t something that should happen from innocently clicking a message to update. If we had known it would completely derail his blog, we would have just ignored it.

Thank you for any help you can give.

    Regards,

    Carla
