Please go to WordPress dashboard => Testimonial slider => Settings => Miscellaneous => Custom Styles => Put following CSS and save changes.
.testimonial_slider__round .testimonial_slideri{height: auto !important;}Also change Slide (Item) Height from Basic settings accordingly.

Please go to WordPress dashboard => Smooth slider => Settings => Basic Settings => Miscellaneous => Multiple Slider Feature => Enable checkbox and save changes.
Now, go to Smooth slider => Settings => Preview => Type of Smooth Slider => Choose slider type as “Custom slider” => In below select box, select any created custom slider and changes.

You can add external link or other page link to post link and read more button link. Please go to WordPress dashboard => Posts => Open post which is added in Smooth slider => At the bottom of post, you will find post meta box smooth slider => Basic tab => Slide Link URL => Put link (for example: http://www.slidervilla.com) => Update post.

Please make sure in which css file you made changes and which skin you are using on slider. If you have made changes in file smooth-slider => css => skins => default => style.css then you need to use Default skin from Smooth slider’s settings.
If still issue persist, please provide us the URL of page where the slider is embedded, so that we will also take look into the scenario and try to fix it.

To turn off links of thumbnail, go to WordPress dashboard => Edit your added post/page/media => Below description section you will find Post meta box of Smooth slider => Basic tab => Do not link this slide to any page(url) => Enable checkbox and update post/page/media. Screenshot attached.

Yes, You can create Category slider in Listic slider which fetches latest posts from category. And you can also show category of post in slider.Do you want to create only one slider and fetch latest only one posts from each category?
