Thank you all for responding this is I have to say helpful.. I’m confused a little, if I remove me old site with all the htm or html I thought they would get deindexed? if I’m wrong by the first post if I didn’t do 302 redirects It sounded like they would, I don’t mind deleting my old pages I just didn’t want them to disappear they have been there for over 13 years lots of indexed pages. Maybe I’m missing something here sorry I know this should be simple I guess I need to think a little. I do know if I did the html extension on a page through wordpress at the end according to seo doctor it advised my page wound not be indexed as soon as I changed it without it was index-able. Anyway thank you all for advise I’m starting to see the picture here but still a little confused I’m new at this and self taught only a couple months in so sorry if these questions are frustrating.
Thank you for your quick response my site is being hosted on hostgator and I found where to 302 redirect but it is a little confusing to me do I have to do this for each page that I remove the htm or html extension?
