Ah. With changing the default WordPress media settings it now does produce WebP images. The WebP images do not get served to my browser though (Chrome 51.0.2704.84 m) … 🙁

(never mind the content, setting up for a new project)
I’m using KeyCDN with the Cache Enabler, CDN Enabler, Optimus and WP Retina 2x addons. (the retina addon does nothing on my current laptop with no retina screen)
Do you (or anybody else) see WebP images?

Tried another theme: still blurry. 🙁
If I set the original image (which is 2048px wide) and let my browser resize it: no blurriness.
