Hi again,
I had AIOS installed on this other domain but I uninstalled it to test to see what would happen. Thanks again for your help and I will see what can be done about this.
Hey hjogiupdraftplus,
No please my funciton.php does not have any filter for
wc_lostpassword_urlHowever, I do have the this Woocommerce > Settings > Advanced have lost-password set up. I am using the lost-password end point the same way you have it shown in the pic.
Even on a different domain it just more seems to be an issue with the lost password reset sending the admin URL to the email of the user who requests a password reset regardless with or without the AIOS plugin enabled. Also you seem to have it working fine with all of the same versions of AIOS and Woocommerce. Thanks a ton @hjogiupdraftplus.
Hi hjogiupdraftplus,
Thanks a ton for trying to give it a look and responding.
The image in your link looks like it could possibly be an older format of the password reset email but I can’t be sure, however, to answer the questions and also give the Woocommerce and WordPress version.
Do you use latest version of AIOS 5.3.0?
Yes AIOS is updated to version 5.3.0Which theme do you use?
Cryout Creations Tempera but I also tested with the default Twenty Twenty-Four (version 1.1) WordPress theme and it did the same thing revealing the hidden URL in the password reset email.I also deactivated every plugin except for Woocommerce and AIOS while on the default 2024 theme with the same result.
In extra of rename login page do you have cookie based bruteforce prevention or login whilte list WP security > Brute force related any one of the feature enabled?
None of tthe other Brute force features are enabled. Only the nename url feature. Also note these versions:
WorPress 6.5.3
Woocommerce Version 8.9.0Maybe other users in the community can test it as well since last time I reported this I was told it is working as normal and it took a friend of mine some time after he also reported the issue before it was accepted. I guess if other users either have the problem or do not have the problem if they test this, then that may help.
Hi guys, just to ask a quick question, do you happen to be using the “unlock request” feature?
The one that allows customers to send an unlock request when they get locked out of their accounts?
