But since this is the only plugin I have updated there should be some connection to this.
You have nu clue or where to look which might make it able for newly registred users to login even if they are in the Pending list?

If I am understand you correctly, what you are saying is this?
1. That I have to pay for an addon to use this plugin with series inside series?
2. I know already about WP Taxonomy, that was not the issue but how you have made own adjustments to fit the plugin, but you answered a little bit with that extra table for graphics.
3. I never got any answer about how I can stay with using default URL:s in WP or change your plugins /series/slug which I do not wanna use.
There are others with this exact problem, I have the same situation, even tried it on a clean WP site with no plugins installed except for WP User Avatar and P3 Plugin Profiler to measure the loading speed. Without WP User Avatar I also gets a big difference in loading time, much faster.
