I know, and I’v just re-installed WordPress, including plugins, scripts etc. After this, I’m able to Login to WordPress Admin Panel, but 50% of the plugins are failing with, and most have same errors, as quoted under:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: spa_default_options() in /home/.lodi/ditii/ditii.com/blog/wp-content/plugins/ald-spa/ald-spa.php on line 47

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: spa_default_options() in /home/.lodi/ditii/ditii.com/blog/wp-content/plugins/ald-spa/ald-spa.php on line 47

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/.lodi/ditii/ditii.com/blog/wp-content/plugins/ubernyms/ubernyms.php on line 217

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/.lodi/ditii/ditii.com/blog/wp-content/plugins/lmbbox-smileys/lmbbox-smileys.php on line 493

I’m going mad, can anyone here give me some idea, what’s missing or the exact cause of the above errors, if possible.

So, that I can talk to the host, as right now, they say, they cann’t provide support to third party plugins, and scripts. I do undetstand their point of view, if I know what’s the cause of the error, I can talk to them straight away, ‘coz it’s clear there is something wrong with either version of configuration at Server end, as all the plugins were running perfectly well and never caused any error.

Hope to hear from some expert soon!

I’v recently migrated my blog to a new host and most of the plugins are failing, which were running perfectly earlier.

This includes Sitemap Beta also, please look at the error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: spa_default_options() in /home/.lodi/ditii/ditii.com/blog/wp-content/plugins/ald-spa/ald-spa.php on line 47

Can anyone advice me, what’s missing or the cause of error?

Yes, I’v installed each and everything on the new host, be it plugins, scripts, and themes.

And most surprisingly, it’s the first time, I’v came across such problems in past 1.5 years.

Please let me know, what could be the error, I’v meanwhile re-installed WordPress again, even though it’s refusing me to let in, and continously crashing and giving wrong password / user name.

Note: everythign was running fine with previous host.

You can see it at http://www.ditii.com

I’m also looking for a reliable host, but not very costly at the same time. I’ve read the “Hands on BestHost” post here on the forum, but it’s leading to nowhere, except more confusion.

The post gives the impression of, try & leave sort of thing, but the average user don’t have the money to try a new host every day.

This is what I’ve gathered from the post:

    LinkSys,
    GoDaddy,
    DreamHost,
    AN Hosting

Now if someone could give a suggestion to the Best option for hosting, it would be grate.

    1. Ok, that means, regular the_excerpt() will show post in excerpt mode and to read the full post, one has to click Post title, is that right?

    2. I’m facing another very strange problem:

    a. earlier I was using content function, which I replaced with inline-ajax-front-page plugin.

It works, but to display full post, it directly fetches the post from the DB and bypass other functionalities.

Now, when I disable this plugin, and use regular excerpt function, the page doesn’t load completely, i.e. it display only single post, and no sidebar etc.

I’ve tried this by de-activating and remvoing, but the problem remain as same.

Can anyone advice, I’ve written at plugin authors site also, but didn’t received any reply.

Thanks Nitallica & HandySolo for your help. I must say, this is what happens, if you are not working for a long time. I had not been able to work on my blog due to frequent downtime for almost 2 months, and the result is quite evident.

I used to answer many query’s earlier here on the forum, w’ll like to get back to normal working ASAP.

    Thanks once again.

If you are using Adsend-Deluxe, enter it’s PHP code in the sidebar.php, where you want to display Ads.

There is a plugin, which can convert WordPress Post to Page and Page to Post. I am not able to recall at this moment. Just try on Google.

dhanesh, if you have a backup of your WordPress DB, just open it using Word(& not MS Word). You will see all the DB Tables and beneath each table is the description and the Data.
