In reply to: Multisite setup |hi i resolved this. i had to get dreamhost support to disable the dreamhost log in plug in from the back end and then everything worked fine. thanks for the help guys. cheers

In reply to: Multisite setup |Many thanks for your reply. I’m with Dreamhost and they said specifically they won’t help with any multisite questions. I’ve got 2 other sites I set up with multisite hosted by them that work fine. But on this most recent site I can’t seem to install multisite because there is still 1 plugin active on this new site that i am not able to deactivate. I don’t how to find it or how to deactivate it.

In reply to: Multisite setup |hi i deleted all the plug ins in the mu-plugins folder but then i couldnt log in to my site. maybe because one of the plug ins was for dreamhost login.
so i had to delete the site and re-install it with wordpress.
i put the multisite code again in the config folder and the network set up still doesnt show an install button. same as before.
do i have to wait a few hours for it to work?
