In reply to: How to make my CSS sidebar dynamic!!Thank you for your reply!!
I have a custom theme that was built by a company that doesn’t exist anymore, so I can’t get them to fix it for me, and I have rudimentary HTML knowledge and obviously no programming experience!
The HTML files I have in my theme folder are TEMPLATE, HEADER, FOOTER and INDEX, so you are saying that I have to add the code you mentioned to the template file, and create my own functions and sidebar files. Is there somewhere you can direct me to that would help me do those things?
Thanks!

In reply to: HELP!!! There are NO POSTS showing on my blog or dashboard!!!Hi, I have tried re-uploading 2.0.6, updating to 3.0, deactivating plugins and deactivating my theme to go to default.
Still no posts.
I have backed everything up, so I am switching back to the original state of things.
I know all my posts are there, they are in MySQL and they are in my FTP. But they aren’t showing up on my dashboard or on my blog.

In reply to: HELP!!! There are NO POSTS showing on my blog or dashboard!!!Also, when I check the source code for my blog page, this is what it says:
<b>Warning</b>: Missing argument 1 for _e() in <b>/home/content/r/o/c/rockersnyc/html/blog/wp-includes/wp-l10n.php</b> on line <b>37</b>And this is line 37 on wp-110n.php:
36 // Echo a translated string.
37 function _e($text, $domain = ‘default’) {
38 global $l10n;I can’t tell what is missing?

In reply to: HELP!!! There are NO POSTS showing on my blog or dashboard!!!I have re-uploaded all of the 2.0.6 files, except the wp-content folder, but it is still not showing up. Since it may be theme-specific, I went in to my dashboard to change the theme, but my theme section is blank. Also, when I try the theme editor or plugin editor tabs, I get an Internal Server error page.

In reply to: HELP!!! There are NO POSTS showing on my blog or dashboard!!!Hi, I reset the plugins folder through my FTP, and now in my dashboard there are no plugins showing…when I re-name the folder, it says that I have no plugins, but when I change the name back to “plugins” it does the same thing as my posts and just doesn’t show up.

In reply to: HELP!!! There are NO POSTS showing on my blog or dashboard!!!Hi, thanks for your reply!
I followed the instructions for deactivating the plugins, and it didn’t seem to make any difference. I will try the other options you gave me.
Can you direct me to a set of instructions for re-uploading all of the files & folders?
Thanks!
