In reply to: [Search Exclude] Category excluded, but later is active againSorry, I needed to launch the site, so deleted the plugin and coded what I needed into functions.php.
For what it’s worth, I installed the plugin for the first time late in the sites development. It hadn’t been updated and was the most recent version available. Everything else on the site was up to date beforehand.

In reply to: [Search Exclude] Category excluded, but later is active again- I’ve changed it back 3 times and each time it’s reactivated.
- I’m not using caching or optimisation
- I’m not using auto-cleaners or database optimizers
- I doesn’t seem to be after any particular action. I’m noticing it when I log back in to work on the site at a later time. I’ve just tried changing it and logging out and in again and they are still there for the time being.

In reply to: [Search Exclude] Category excluded, but later is active againSame problem here.
Search Exclude: 2.5.7
WordPress: 6.8.3
PHP 8.1.16Selecting all seems to work but excluding individual categories works for a short while then the next time I log in, it activates them again.
Sorry, it’s on a local development server at the moment so can’t show you it. I think I’ve found a plugin that will solve my problem but I’ll learn how to write javascript statements as a priority! Many thanks.
Perfect. Thanks.
Sorry, thought I’d sorted this. The link you provide needs doing for each individual relevant item in the product list.
I need to set up a discount ‘any 3 products (from the category) for £6’ from a dynamic product list based on a category of product.
I need a solution that applies to anything from the category rather than individual items.
Thanks
Ah, that’s what I suspected. Thanks for the quick reply.
