Thank you Esmi, for all your help. So I managed to reinstall it and now I want to transfer it to my main data base. I am a bit apprehensive, step 4, the URI step, do I put the domain name I registered or the URI from my web host?

Also step 9 move your wordpress core files. Which files are the core files? I don’t want to make the same mistake. Last time I moved all the files that were not in a folder. Do I move them to where my old index.html file used to be?

It says to clear my old table database first, no idea what that means. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

After I ckicked save, nothing worked. Not too sure what went wrong so I assumed I put in the wrong URI.

Step 9.Move your WordPress core files to the new location. This includes the files found within the original directory, such as http://example.com/wordpress, and all the sub-directories, to the new location

Not sure if I did this right either, I moved eah file individually into the main directory. No clue if thats what I have to do.

I think I must of made some sort of mistake, I put the URL instead of the URI. I’m not too sure what the URI is. Can someone help me?
