There is another .htaccess file in my root folder, but it does not look like it is related to Wordforce. Again, I deleted Wordforce and Wordforce Assistant, and I still cannot get on to my site.
I called the HOSTING company; they see no problem. I also called the Internet provider; there was no problem.
This experience helped me to learn a valuable lesson: free is not always for me. I only wanted to protect my site from people who could cause harm. Now, I cannot access my own site.
I know that Barnez is trying to help. Please help me get my site back.
I looked at that file before I deleted Wordfence. The .htaccess file read “deny all,” and it was the only text listed in the file.
The error messages I get are: Error code: ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT and Error code: ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED.
