In reply to: WP Website, I'm ready for your critiquesVery nice site. I like the horizontal scroll but to me, it is a bit slow. I think that there is a fine line between the right speed and so slow that people lose interest. I found it a bit too slow to want to wait. Since scrolling is controlled by the buttons, you might want to speed it up just a little. The visitor can always stop it where they want.

In reply to: Local event-news siteHave you looked into integrating forum software like xenforo (found at xenforo.com)? They have a bridge add-on that links WP well. There is a forum plug-in called bbpress here but it is simpler in nature. You may look into both and see which may better suit your needs or goals.

In reply to: [Duda Mobile Website Builder] Mobile detection issueThanks for the support guys. I did get the mobile redirect working but when the mobile site updated (synched I guess) the page customizations that I did were lost on the visible site. Not sure why I would see a site with everything that I removed. Anyway, poor support, deceptive on what is included and not from the start and not interested.

In reply to: [Plain Meta Tags] don't workIn the newer version of WP you need to go to the screen options and select custom fields to be visible. Once you do that, you can create your custom fields that work with this plugin. It works for me using 3.3.1.

In reply to: How to hard code a folder nameEric,
Great plugin. Realizing that the information is pulled from the database, is there a way to limit what extensions are pulled? As for the response to the OP, being able to select what folder images are pulled from would be a great addition down the road.
Thanks,
Robert
