Thanks Benjamin. I am quite frustrated, my server has been no help in addressing the file limit allocation. BUT, I am able to load the plugin via FTP and it has worked before this way with the update prior to this last one.
Just an update – everything is fixed. Really stupid mistake, our server had an old copy of our site that we didn’t know about. It was that set of directories that I was looking at. When I found the correct site, I found the plugin and deleted it. All is well with the world now. 🙂
