Np man! I was going nuts myself, because I it didn’t work on my clients live site 🙂
But re-uploading the images seems to be the fix, so the can be served over HTTPS.
Sorry Esmi – I wasn’t trying to take over this post, but rather provide some additional information.
SOLUTION:
Finally I’ve made it work! The solution for me was simply to go to the plugin option panel in WordPress, and under the “star” tab, download the star images, delete them, and reupload the images again.
For some reason I had to do it a few times, and also delete the cache for the page a few times, but after a few attempts the images was reuploaded with HTTPS! 🙂
I’ve got the same problem with the plugin, after I’ve moved a WordPress site from a local installation to a live site with HTTPS. I’ve deleted the plugin through WordPress and FTP, but the plugins obviously remembers the non-secure paths to images.
