Yeh it didn’t happen before these 2-3 versions, not sure what has happened since then.
Let NinjaFirewall make the above changes

I’ve also notice if I choose this option, NinjaFirewall just resets .htaccess afterwards and webpage can’t be viewed. I see multiple copies of .htaccess, none of them have the ninjafirewall code in them, just the standard wordpress code.
Only way temporarily is to chown .htaccess to another user so ninjafirewall doesn’t overwrite/reset it.
