I actually might be able to. For me, the issue was that I had WordPress installed in a subfolder localhost/wordpress/ instead of in the root folder of my host. I reinstalled directly into localhost and presto! it worked. (And thanks to Alex & Felix at Stylemix for helping sort out the issue 🙂 )
