There is a tab in their settings – I think it’s called ‘Safe Guards’ or something similar to that. Deactive it there, and save your options. Then deactivate the plugin.
Sorry I can’t be clearer than that, I deleted it before I had a chance to write the instructions down.

I’m having the same issue and it seems to be conflicting with another membership program.
Can someone please comment on how to completely clean this plugin off?
