Sorry, my CSS knowledge is limited, so where would I go to edit that if its in the HTML and not from the CSS?
Haven’t copied / pasted anything from Word.

You can see it is showing it under body and the colour (grey ish) is right and what is displaying on the site. Change that colour to red say and it still stays grey. Add in font size underneath and make it twice the size and it changes the font size. the colour wont budge
It is like it is being over ridden but if thats the case, the property inspector would have a line through the color to show it is not the one being used??

Thats what seems odd, property insprector is showing that it is pulling the font from the body setting in the css yet changing it does noting. I change the font size, it changes, I change the colour and nothing??
