Just to show that I am not an expert I also noticed and probably the all problem is here, the media from the gallery is not loading, everything loads from other parts of the website but not from the media gallery.
A helping mind would be great. I went to all the links in these forum to check if a solution came up but, and I did most things you guys recommend, nothing worked so far.

Just to add some information to my post.
Even after doing several changes onto the portfolio going from showing 25 items per page, or 12 or change the number of columns the website always shows the same thing: 2×6 items, always the same, in all 3 pages…
