In reply to: Increase Max Upload size with WP 2.1?I still can’t seem to figure this out. Looking at mySQL, I’ve got this:
max allowed packet: 33,553,408
which looks like it should be more than sufficient.
is it possible that my php.ini is not written correctly?
Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: Uploading Sound ClipI’m having trouble as well. When I add that line to .htaccess it tells me to add it to php.ini
then, after adding to php.ini I get this:
The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.
even though it shouldn’t — is it for some reason not recognizing 6M as 6MB?

In reply to: Trouble with pings and trackbackHosted by EZ publishing. I will try disabling plugins when posting (is there a plug-in that globally disables all plug-ins)?
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Trouble with pings and trackbackthe post does appear. but on the WP module, instead of returning to the dashboard, it freezes on a blank page with the /wp-admin/post.php suffix
The post does go through, however, my trackbacks have not been detected either automatically, or when I enter them into the “trackback URI” box.

In reply to: Sidebar suddenly sunk below main text!?!!?I would kind of have to rebuild everything. I don’t understand why it can’t be fixed easier.
There must be some glitch in the code that I just can’t find, no?
I appreciate your help, by the way

In reply to: Sidebar suddenly sunk below main text!?!!?I remain entirely at a loss. PLEASE HELP somebody!
I think the problem may be that I originally tried to edit the sidebar.php in the Dashboard – which never works for me because I can never save it.
Then I went ahead and did the edit via FTP.
Even when I restore theh original sidebar it remains messed up.
I got a beer for anyone with a solution!
