You’re right – I was so fixated that it had to be an embed (I actually liked the design, bummer), I forgot there were other options.
I tried what you said now and also the plugin solution, they both suit my client’s needs, so I’m marking this topic as resolved 🙂

Precisely!! Is there any workaround? Even though I found a temporary solution of course it would be best if I could include a code so the first image would always be the left hand image.
I already did that – it’s all organized already. I didn’t explain what I meant correctly, sorry.
The problem is with how the gallery is displayed.
Even though the little square markers below mark the beginning of the gallery, Argent shows the last photos, and the first photos following…so it’s not clear where the gallery starts and where it ends.

The CSS about the font did work on the home page very well, thank you 🙂 However I need to change all other titles as well (for instance, “Biografia”, “Obras”, also all the subitems in Portfolio such as Cabeças, Torsos, etc). How can I do that?The embed issue (I’m embedding from posts within the own website) is still bad though. I tried what you said and they were still not working with all plugins deactivated, I tried also installing Twenty Seventeen just for a check, also didn’t work (in Twenty Seventeen none of the embeds loaded actually). I also tried clearing the cache, deleting and re-pasting all the content…still nothing. I don’t get it, it was working so well before.

On textos (http://www.projetoevandrocarneiro.com.br/textos/) two texts I added yesterday are not loading. I don’t get why. I did it exactly as I did all the others and all the others are generating preview. Not these two (one of them is the last of the list). Is there something like a maximum number of links I can post to this page?
Also, the client asked me to change the titles’ font (the font that is in the text “Obras” in the home page). He wants something non-bold/non-italic, he said the bold/italic is “heavy”. How could I change that? It would be best to find a web-safe font, right?

My client was complaining about that, but then again, it could be a million things, such as his Internet link, which I know for a fact can be slow at times. I tested at my office, in my home, and also at a friend’s office, besides my mobile phone and friends phones, and the loading time was nothing unnatural. 🙂

}workaround. I’ve read in a few other topics here that one should never edit the original theme file, but rather use a Custom CSS Plugin or a Child Theme. I’m a newbie (as you have probably noticed) so sorry about the stupid question, but I just have to copy that code into my Custom CSS Plugin (I’m currently using the Custom CSS function built in Jetpack, which opens in the Appearance section) to get the result?

In reply to: [Argent] Mobile issuesHey Chad, I’m glad you weren’t able to reproduce it because it means what I did worked 🙂 I read some other topics in this forum and one of them said it could be related to the Photon module on Jetpack, so I disabled that and voilà! 🙂
I’m still having a few inconsistencies (the logo is always cropped wrongly even though I chose the recommended size, for instance – it seems to be an issue related to the responsiveness of the website, also on Safari the “torsos” project thumbnail doesn’t appear) but this one was by far the worst of them.
I’m now struggling with speed since the images are taking too long to load. If you have any tips on that I’d appreciate it 🙂Forum: Themes and Templates
