Hi abc,
It seems you have the Click to Close Menu on Link Click option activated, please turn that off and it will stop it closing whenever you click on the menu.
Also I cant see the styles you added for the icons on your site, did you copy it exactly as I typed it including the almost hidden “i” element?

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Major 3.0.0 UpdateHey Louis,
I very much appreciate that 5 star review, hopefully over time the 1 star reviews will get pushed down, as you mention they both mention the PHP version which was already specified as not supported.
As I said before I am suprised at the amount of outdated servers with big companies.
We are onto PHP 7.0 now so they really are stuck back about 10 years ago some of these companies.
Anyway let me know how you get on via email if you’d like.
Thanks again

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Major 3.0.0 UpdateThanks Louis,
It’s nice to hear that after a tough day so far! 2, 1 star reviews and alot of support requests and emails to get through.
I always knew a major release is a painful process for everyone but didn’t think it would be this brutal!
Its also shown me how many hosts are still running outdated PHP software even big companies like GoDaddy as shown above which really suprised me.
Hope you manage to get your PHP upgraded and are able to enjoy the new features.
All the best

In reply to: [Just Variables] Could not get to workBonkerz are you just going around giving one star reviews to everyone?
Please have some respect for peoples work and the WordPress review system as everyone is giving their time and effort away for free.
I would suggest that if you don’t like the solutions offered then please code your own and release it to the community instead.

Hi there,
Im not sure where you got those icons from in your menu as they werent created by my menu so I cant really support the styling of those and that should really be in the realm of your web developer. The pro versions has Font Icons built in so that would handle all of the styling for you.
Having said that, please try something like the following:
.responsive-menu-link i {
line-height: 50px !important;
margin-right: 10px !important;
}To lower the title simply do something like:
#responsive-menu-title {
padding-top: 80px !important;
}All the best
Hi there,
There are quite a few styles that need updating. Ive tried a few below but you may still need to tweak these:
.responsive-menu-box,
.responsive-menu-button,
#responsive-menu-button img {
width: 100% !important;
}Then you need to enter the same image as the clicked image as currently there is no image selected for when clicked.
In regards the submenu items you just need to play around with the style options in the admin for these, simply increase the size of each of them etc and increase and it should look better.

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Results in 500 errorHi risalm,
I understand your frustration but there were messages and warnings given for the last month before releasing the major update to not upgrade if you are on a PHP version pre 5.4.
The issue was fixed within an hour of it being brought to my attention so I urge you to think again.
Ive given 3 years of my life to this project for free so I find this a bit harsh.

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Go to menu pluginHi risalm,
You are right but there was ample time given and plenty of indication that pre PHP 5.4 is not supported before upgrading.

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Major 3.0.0 UpdateHey Louis,
Yes very bad – please read the posts above… You need at least PHP 5.4 to use the plugin.
Please ask your webhost to upgrade as PHP 5.3 is no longer supported by PHP, is unsecure and unsupported.
Apologies it caused the issues you are facing but you really need to upgrade your PHP version at least.

Hi abc,
It is still working correctly but it may be behaving differently to how it did before.
Can you override the CSS to give you 100% width on the menu button so it stretches the whole page and you need to now upload a hover image too (you can give it the same image if you dont want it to change).
Its difficult to provide the exact solution without being able to look at the code itself.

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Website Crash and Error CodeHey dccharron,
Yes PHP 5.4 is the minimal requirement for the plugin so it should be enough!
I hope it fixes it for you!

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Go to menu pluginP.S – I have fixed the issue of it taking down sites now and will simply display a notice and then deactivate the plugin from the admin.
Hope this helps and please bare the hard work developers give away for free in future before posting reviews like above as they do actually affect us.
