In reply to: [Real Estate Answers] [Plugin: Real Estate Q&A] Error 404Dave,
Our plugin does not actually “create” pages on your blogs. However, it will appear as if the pages are on your blog. In reality, the pages are “dynamically” generated by the plugin. For example, take a look at our mobile app blog:
http://realtybaron.mobi/answers/realanswers/questions/?type=metro&value=New%20York,%20NY-NJ
That page doesn’t actually exist on our WP server. It is generated at the moment your browser makes the request.

As I suspected, the problem is the permalink type. WP’s default permalink type is based on page numbers, i.e. http://www.liverpoolhomesearch.com/?page_id=8. Our plugin requires a permalink type which does not reference page numbers. Read more about “pretty” permalinks at http://codex.wordpress.org/Introduction_to_Blogging#Pretty_Permalinks.

In reply to: [Real Estate Answers] [Plugin: Real Estate Q&A] Error 404Dave,
Typically, this type of behavior is related to the type of permalink used on the blog, i.e. “Default” does not work. If you can provide the web address of your blog, I can verify.
Michael,
Can you email me at “marc@realtybaron.com”? Once I have an email from you, I can create your account manually and reply with your API key.
Thanks.
Michael,
Our registration is now automated and it’s unnecessary to “wait” for anything. On the Settings page, do you have an “API Key”? If not, please click “Request one here” and try again. I don’t see a new account with your name created in recent days.

In reply to: [Plugin: Real Estate Q&A] Not compatible with WP 2.9Denzel Chia: “Its got nothing to do with WordPress 2.9. I developed the Plugin using 2.9 beta. It was not developed in WordPress 2.8 plus. The problem is the permanent link. Please ask the blogger to change to using structured permanent link instead of default. For example, http://blog.lasvegasmove.com/?p=719 will not work. The permanent links structure should be something like http://blog.lasvegasmove.com/2009/22/heading-south-for-the-winter”
