Talked with Aplus. Apparently this problem is plaguing Aplus customers. Tons of support tickets written. Although Aplus doesn’t support WP, they are looking into the problem in hopes of helping there customers. Noble effort. So, it looks like the problem comes back to WP as the culprit with this issue.
This is a new install, no plugins have been added, nor turned on. No templates have been added. This is a RAW WP 4.0.1 install. Is this a WP problem or an Aplus.Net problem? I am exploring the situation with Aplus.Net. I see NOTHING at the WP forums, although I see some fury at the Elegant Themes forums. I am not so sure it is an ET problem, but rather WP is the issue here.
If this issue is not resolved today, I will move on to another web site building program. Time is money for me.
