Nevermind. Fixed. Found the way in phpMyAdmin to change % to localhost, then the script ran fine. But I tell you, there was no apparent way. I clicked on the database, selected privileges, then edit privileges, THEN clicked the large header that said blah@”%” and it took me to the page where I could change the dbhost. whew! a whole week gone.
