Same issue here, looking at the code everything seems to load except the images. Turned video’s off in the widget but the outcome is the same. Tried to change other settings, but no luck.

The server this site is on runs on 5.3.292.0
Your suggested solution doesn’t fix my issue.When i turn off the hide admin option, i receive a 404. It might be settings from an earlier plugin i used (Rename wp-login.php) that is causing this. When i turn this plugin on, i’m able to login and out without any hassle.
