The above needs a little nuance. It was the plugin I mentioned but because I had put the English word “By” inside it in order to replace it by the Dutch word “Door”. So every time Google Photos returned a URL with “By” as a letter sequence in it, it was changed into “Door” by the plugin. And No image was displayed. Because Google Photos change the URL’s every now and then the number of images not displaying changes also.
But I am happy it is resolved now.
I found it……It was a plugin. “Real-Time Find and Replace” made by Marios Alexandrou. It’s a plugin who translates single words in another language in for example the output of a plugin. The moment I deactivated this plugin the problem was gone.

And do you have any clue what I can do to resolve this isssue? I tried your plugin on another site at another hosting with another google account and it worked perfectly.The difference was that the other site was a site with no SSL. You never see this problem before with one of your plugin users?

I can access the baseUrl of the missing photo’s with no problem. But every few hours later, other photo’s are missing. I just tried the ones who are missing right now.
But now it 10 minutes later and I cannot access photo 11 anymore (10 minutes before I could) and get an error:
403. That’s an error.

Thanks for your effort,
In my first post I told you the website was hosted on my PC in an Xampp environment.I got the Google Client ID,the Google Client Secret and the Authentication was OK. At that time I had the same problem.
After that I migrated the site to a real hosting provider. And I made a new Client ID. Also the authentication was redone. So I think starting with a another new Client ID will not solve the problem.
Do you have any other suggestions? Can it be that my wordpress theme (Avada) is the problem?
And now after 30 minutes there are again 6 missing pictures.
For your information…..This is the short code I use to display the photo’s from the album:

I think that is not the problem.
I completely removed Comet Cache by following this small tutorial:EMERGENCY: IF ALL ELSE FAILS (HOW-TO REMOVE COMET CACHE)
Ordinarily you can just deactivate Comet Cache from the plugins menu in WordPress. However, if you’re having a more serious issue, please follow the instructions here.Log into your site via FTP; perhaps using FileZilla.
Delete this file: /wp-content/advanced-cache.php
Delete this directory: /wp-content/plugins/comet-cache/
Remove this line from your /wp-config.php file: define(‘WP_CACHE’, TRUE);
Comet Cache is now completely uninstalled and you can start fresh 🙂After I look at my test page the problem only got worse. See the link below.

I have the site semi live now. Still the same problem as mentioned above. I will give you a link to a page where I want to display an album of 42 pictures. But only 36 pictures are displayed. It doesn’t matter which layout I choose or what album..it happens always.

I tried your suggestion…regenerate-thumbnails…. But no succes.
All thumbnails stay the same.I tried the plugin on a local copie of the site on my computer but nothing changed.
Any other thoughts?
