Thank you for your detailed suggestion and for bringing the alignment issue to our attention. I appreciate your input regarding the HTML structure and the proposed changes.I will share your suggestion with the development team for review.
In the meantime, you can use the following CSS to fix the alignment issue, as the radio container was ignoring the padding:
.directorist-listing-card-radio {
padding: .25rem .5rem;}Please add this code to your site’s Custom CSS section, and it should resolve the misalignment problem.
If you have any further questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out.

Hello erbrown777 !
Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. Here is a professional clarification for each of the points:- The issue with plugin updates has been resolved for most environments. However, since this is server-related, a small number of users may still experience challenges.
- Themes update issue has also been fixed.
- The documentation for the AddonsKit for Elementor plugin is under development and will be available soon.
- The height of listing containers depends on the content within each listing. If any content is missing, the height adjusts automatically, which may cause visual differences.
- A new design for the featured listing badge has been introduced. If you prefer the previous design, please contact the support team for assistance.
- The option to set the number of related listings has been removed.
- The slider speed for related listings cannot be adjusted by default. However, it can be customized through code adjustments if needed.
- The conditions for related listings, such as Tags AND/OR Categories, are no longer configurable.
- The Listing Category icon option has been removed at Map View in version 8.
- The issue regarding map popup settings has been fixed. You can now configure which items to display in the map popup.
- The additional plugins provided to enhance the Add Listing fields and Social Links were custom solutions tailored specifically to your requirements. There are no plans to integrate these into the core version at this time.
- The code that you have shared has also been adjusted to accommodate with version 8.
If you need further clarification or additional support, feel free to reach out.
Kind Regards.

Thank you for reaching out with your question!
Directorist 8, combined with Templatiq, introduces the ability to use multiple theme designs/layouts within a single theme. However, the concept works a bit differently than assigning separate themes to directory types.
Here’s how it works:
- You can create different pages using your preferred theme layouts. For instance, your homepage can have a layout like “OneListing Pro,” while your other page can use a layout similar to “DJobs.”
- Additionally, you can choose specific theme blocks for particular pages. In that case, those blocks will use the chosen theme layout, allowing you to mix different theme designs within the same page.
This way, you can effectively achieve multiple theme designs across your site.
If you need further guidance, feel free to let us know! We’re happy to help.

Thank you for your feedback. I’d like to address the specific concerns you’ve raised regarding the issues with reviews, BuddyPress syncing, and the access problems you encountered.
1. Issue with Reviews – wp_atbdp_review Table Missing: The issue you’re facing with reviews is related to the missingwp_atbdp_reviewtable. This table was removed as part of a significant migration we implemented in version 7.1.0, which was released over 3 years ago. We moved the review system to WordPress’s native comments table in order to improve performance, simplify maintenance, and take advantage of WordPress’s built-in features. Since this migration, we have not had similar reports from other users.Could you please provide more details on your system or any error logs you’ve encountered? This will help us determine the exact cause and assist you in resolving the issue quickly.
2. BuddyPress Login/Signup Pages Syncing: Regarding the syncing issue with BuddyPress login and signup pages: Directorist uses custom pages for login and registration by default. However, since you’re using BuddyPress, we offer a BuddyPress/BuddyBoss Integration extension. This extension allows you to sync the login and registration pages with BuddyPress, meaning you won’t need to use the Directorist login page. Once integrated, BuddyPress login will work seamlessly across your site without further issues.
3. Accessing the Settings Page: If you’re encountering the “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page” error as an admin, it may be related to user permissions or conflicts with other plugins. Please ensure that you have the necessary administrative privileges, and try disabling any other plugins to check for conflicts. If the issue persists, please provide more details about your setup so we can investigate further. We want to ensure everything works as expected for your site. If you need help setting up any of the above features or resolving these issues, don’t hesitate to reach out through our technical support channel. We’re here to assist you and get everything running smoothly.
Best Regards.
Hello dejman !
Thank you for reaching out with your question.Currently, in the Related Listings settings, there is no option to modify the slider speed directly. The speed is hard-coded by default, as shown in the screenshot here: https://share.cleanshot.com/kNvXyX3F
However, we appreciate your feedback, and we are planning to add a configuration option in the future that will allow you to control the speed of the carousel from the settings.
Kind Regards.Hello Jomon Thomas Lobo !

Kind Regards.Hello digitronic !
Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We truly appreciate the time you’ve taken to offer such a thorough critique, and your insights are invaluable to us. We understand your frustration and want to address your concerns in a constructive way. Please know that we genuinely value your input as it helps us grow and improve.1. Performance and Stability Concerns with v8.0:
We completely understand that the v8.0 update has been challenging for some users, especially given the significant changes that came with this release. It’s important to acknowledge that, like many major updates in the industry, there can be initial bumps, particularly when plugins evolve to improve performance and scalability. While the update may seem challenging at the moment, we want to reassure you that over time, it will truly be a game-changer. The v8.0 release focused on performance optimization and a comprehensive restructuring of the layout, settings panel, builder, and appearance to ensure that Directorist remains lightweight, intuitive, and highly effective. We ask for your patience, as this transition will ultimately benefit the plugin’s long-term functionality.
2. Support Response and Feedback Integration:
We understand your concerns regarding support and the request for positive reviews as part of the support process. We want to clarify that we take user feedback very seriously, and most of our updates are shaped by what our users share with us. Our support team is known for going above and beyond to assist users, especially with intensive customizations, and we strive to resolve issues as quickly as possible. However, we do recognize that some tickets, particularly those requiring global fixes, may take additional time due to the complexity of the issues involved.
We also want to address the mention of positive review requests. Please rest assured that support agents do not ask for positive reviews as a condition for offering assistance.
3. Target User Persona and Flexibility:
Directorist aims to serve a broad range of users, from intermediate users to professional developers. We understand that advanced users may prefer more flexibility, and we want to highlight that Directorist is an open-source plugin. This means that experienced developers have the freedom to customize the plugin to their needs, even if the out-of-the-box features don’t fully meet every use case. We just launched Bricks integration. Our team is actively working on enhancing this integration to provide the flexibility that developers expect.
4. Design and Customization Options:
We appreciate your feedback on the design and styling limitations in v8.0. Our design team is continuously working to improve the plugin’s layout and provide a more professional and modern user experience. We understand that design preferences vary from user to user, and we are working toward a more flexible, block-based solution that allows users to fully customize the layout of each block according to their individual needs.
5. Testing and Quality Assurance:
We are fully aware of the importance of quality assurance, and each release undergoes intensive testing. We’re pleased to inform you that new users typically do not experience significant issues. Any challenges that arise are often related to the migration process, as each WordPress site may have a unique combination of plugins, which can make migration a complex task. That said, we’ve addressed the most common issues and continue to regularly update Directorist to further enhance stability and performance. We remain fully committed to providing the best possible experience for our users and make Directorist as stable as possible.
In Closing:
We understand that your experience with v8.0 has not been ideal, and we appreciate your patience as we continue to refine the plugin. We genuinely believe that with time, the changes made in v8.0 will lead to a more powerful and flexible product. We ask that you stay with us through this transition, and we are confident that the next updates will make a significant improvement to your experience with Directorist.
Thank you again for your honest feedback. We are committed to making Directorist the best directory plugin available, and your input plays a vital role in that process.
Best regards,
