My default mindset is to give people the benefit of the doubt. Meanwhile, I’m still waiting for help to resolve this issue. Tick tock.
And why would the publisher not want to do the troubleshooting here in the Support Forum…you know, so others experiencing the same problem might benefit from reading the solution (instead of taking it to private email). Very strange.
Still waiting for an answer a day and a half after posting the concern.
I have to agree with mario12345. I’ve not been impressed with the support for this product.
The email address is fine. You got an auto-response from Earthlink as part of their challenge/response spam-blocking system. I’ve whitelisted your email address. As long as you send from that email address, you’ll get through to me fine. Plus, I saw your emails in the catch-all folder of my webmail where I can whitelist or block different addresses. I’ll try sending again.
Yes, I did contact you by email last night shortly after purchasing the plug-in. I will be happy to continue this discussion in email. However, I have not yet received a reply from you in email, and am awaiting some guidance from you.
I also tried phoning you a short while ago (yes, an international phone call), but no one answered.

Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: Newbie questionsOkay, maybe I’m not quite explaining myself adequately. Just so I’m clear…
I install it on the server. Which means I don’t have to download anything here, since my hosting provider makes Word Press available to me through the online Control Panel of my hosting account. Yet I read throughout this forum and on the WordPress.org website about how people “download Word Press.” Am I correct in assuming that’s for people who aren’t using a hosting provider that makes it available to them (as most do)?
Then, you say I “write articles” using my web browser. Okay, dandy. But what about page layout and design? Do I do that in a browser, too?
