yea … thats what i realized after posting you ..i created the template based of page.php what shud ive done is copy index.php … thanx a lot mannn

here is what i did i created a file aa.php and added

Template Name: Snarfer
*/
get_header(); ?> this text to the file and then i copied all the content of pages.php and selected the theme of snarfer of the page i wanted to display as the main … and published but nothing happened it showed as a post
