Oh, surprise 🙂 I’ve also changed tracking on most of my clients sites. Most of them only need basic analytics, so I go with Statify, the rest is handled by Matomo, but there are a few who still want/need GA.
But if you choose to shut it down I could totally understand, and would look elsewhere.
We’re on 6.8.3 at the moment, while 6.9 came out yesterday if I’m not mistaken.
Still works, only meta-data on wp.org triggers Wordfence.
What are you using instead?

be great if you’d bump the versions.And also great to hear, that it’ll be moved to the core-plugin. Makes absolut sense.

thx for following up so fast. Yep, site is region-restricted. Layered security 🙂 Glad you had VPN at hand.I understand the technical implications, but don’t see any js-errors at all.
What I do see is my messages valued as Spam. I already tried moving them to ham, and retraining the B8, but this doesn’t change anything. Is there any kind of log where I can see the reasons why a message is rated Spam?

Ok, just that I get it right: Does this mean the notification is by default sent to the mailadress under Settings > General, and any users mail is an “any email”-case?

Yeah, I guess, that’s the purpose 😀
At the moment it’s sent to my admin-accounts mailadress, but I’d like to send it to the site-owners adress instead.
