Yes I figured it out and fixed it. The gap occured because the plugin CSS had its width set to 100%. As it is pretty small I reduced the width to 50% and viola the gap dissapeared.

No I did not figure it out. It still shows in IE-6.
Looks bad because it seems as though the first post has no text. and the text begins after the two side bars end. This did not happen before I entered the plugin code.
