I see what you mean, i am on chrome and when I first hit the site It all looks fine. when i refresh the slider disappears. I’m thinking the problem is withe slider?
Have you tried clearing your cache?
Had a similar problem when I finished thequickwayto.com I solved my problem by placing the slider php code in a <div> tag and messing with margins. This may work for you too.
