In reply to: Plugins missingFYI mac os is not virus free anymore. but the website runs on linux. You said you had a backup copy of your site on your computer? Try uploading the wp-config.php file you have on your computer to the site. It goes in the root of your site.

In reply to: Tried to adjust text width and shut down my siteI started by telling you that you need a child theme, Here is how to create one and why.
The best way to make changes like this to a theme is to use a child theme, so your tweaks won’t be overwritten when updating the theme. Here are some guides in case you haven’t made one before:

In reply to: Tried to adjust text width and shut down my siteOn the left side click on Public_html, you will have a list of folders on the right side. Look for WP-CONTENT, open that one then look for THEMES.
Once there you will see Twenty-Thirteen folder, rename that to TWENTY-THIRTEEN.HOLD this will disable the theme and your site will go to a default theme. Once done you should be able to access your site.Forum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: Tried to adjust text width and shut down my siteI see your site is hosted with GoDaddy. You should have cpanel hosting. Can you access that?

In reply to: Tried to adjust text width and shut down my siteEdits like that should be done with a child theme. Let’s get your site back up first. Do you know how to FTP? Or access the file manager in your cPanel (if you have that)?
