If you have Mozilla you can use firebug to figure out how to change your css. It’s pretty easy once you play with it. You can find youtube vids on firebug also. In fact just about all browsers have developer tools that pretty much work the same way.

In reply to: Getting rid of the date at top of pageThe best way to make changes like this to a theme is to use a child theme, so your tweaks won’t be overwritten when updating the theme. Here are some guides in case you haven’t made one before:

In reply to: Godaddy or meAlso on the Godaddy end go to your cpanel, under SOFTWARE find and select OPTIMIZE WEBSITE then COMPRESS ALL CONTENT. That will take care of your compression issue that is also slowing down your site.
