I am lost what to do and put back all the includes from my backup so that I could get the site back up.

In reply to: 2.8 Problems and Solutions (FAQ)yes I deactivated all pluggins before I tried to upgrade! Should I maybe reinstall the includes from the current version I am running before I upgrade? Where can I get current version wordpress 2.3.2? Any suggestions?

header(“Location: $location”);”Please help! I think I am supposed to change the location there for header or something were it says location as it says it gives problems.

Don’t know what to do. Any advice would be much appreciated…I think it best to fix whats causing those errors before I try updating.

In reply to: Duplicate WordPress to different domain nameThanks Guys for the good info! I know whats a redirect but then I wouldn’t gain benefits in search listings from the new great domain name I got (grenadineislands.info). I would like to run it on that, is there a way to do it?
What’s the difference between cloaking and a redirect? What would you suggest in order for me to be able to run the site on that domain. If cloaking allows that will I benefit from it in searches…?

I noticed one funny thing though. I just changed to another host a few days ago and even though I just changed the permissions nothing is happening and it still says “If this file were writable you could edit it”. That may also explain why any changes to the leftcolumn and rightcolumn doesnt translate into the site. I think the admin panel is still the one located on my old host. WEIRD. If this is the case I don’t even know what to do in any case, I am going to try upgrading as u recommended.

In reply to: leftcolumn and rightcolumnIn the theme editor it gives different files of the theme I am using. If I go ahead and change the code for the lefthandcolumn which I can do there is no option to save. Below the file code the page says. If this file were writable I could edit it.

In reply to: leftcolumn and rightcolumnThanks Samboll, Yes i have the sidebar lefthandcolumn and righthandcolumn in the theme folder but when i change the info nothing happens on the page… I am sure this was not the case before as I remember changing it there and it used to work.
